# ABOUT US — LA SAINTE BIJOUTERIE
My name is Claire, I'm a millennial born in the 90s, and La Sainte Bijouterie is a brand deeply linked to my story, my inspirations, and my way of seeing fashion.
I grew up with 2000s hip-hop and rock culture, a time when jewelry was an integral part of outfits, where accumulating accessories allowed one to express a personality, an attitude, an identity. Very early on, jewelry became much more than just a detail for me: it was a way to transform an outfit, to tell a story without speaking.
Since childhood, I've been passionate about aesthetics, materials, colors, and attention to detail. Vain, a perfectionist, and deeply attached to the harmony of accessories, I've always loved creating looks where each element finds its place and interacts with the rest.
Creating my own jewelry brand therefore became an obvious choice.
After several years spent in the world of vintage clothing and second-hand items, I realized how much old jewelry found in flea markets, at antique fairs, through associations, or on Vinted was often neglected. Many were broken, damaged, or considered old-fashioned, even though they still possessed a lot of character and history.
I wanted to give them a new life.
La Sainte Bijouterie was born from this desire to create strong, unique, and durable jewelry from vintage and second-hand materials. Each piece is entirely handmade by me, using an artisanal approach that combines upcycling, repurposing, and contemporary creation.
I mainly mix stainless steel with vintage beads, old elements, and found materials to create strong, modern jewelry designed to last over time.
My universe oscillates between vintage, punk, alternative, and spiritual. I love jewelry that can adorn an entire outfit on its own, pieces that catch the eye, that assert something, and that are unlike any other.
Each creation is conceived as a unique piece, rarely reproduced identically.
My inspiration comes from everyday life: reflections of light, shapes, materials, museums, magazines, decor, forgotten objects, or even certain almost invisible details that nevertheless end up catching the eye.
Through La Sainte Bijouterie, I want to offer jewelry that I couldn't find anywhere else: powerful, expressive, alternative jewelry, capable of making the person wearing it feel unique.
My creations are designed for all genders, all identities, and all bodies.
Because a piece of jewelry can be much more than an accessory: it can become a signature.
